St Jude Research Hospital

One of the largest and most important parts of being a member of Delta Upsilon is giving back. We give our members weekly opportunities to do service projects and raise philanthropy money for St. Jude Research Hospital. Every spring, the fraternity also provides the opportunity for a select group of members to visit the children's hospital. This provides them with the opportunity to see first hand where the money we are raising is going towards. Some of our top fundraising events consists of: Sorority Donation Contests, Letter Writing, St. Jude Up 'til Dawn, and Jump for St. Jude. Last year, the chapter has raised $5,274 for the children at St. Jude.

GSI

Service on a global scale

One of the most unique service opportunities provided to Delta Upsilon is the Global Service Initiative, or GSI. This opportunity, provided by the International Fraternity, gives our members the chance to go to Jamaica or Washington D.C. to do service for the local communities with chapters from around The United States and Canada. Last year, the chapter raised $3,350 for the Global Service Initiative.
