Recruitment
Freshmen, it is time to become a new member of the Greek Community. Joining a Fraternity will greatly enhance your time here at Bradley University. Nearly 35% of Bradley University is Greek, all of which are completely satisfied with their decision. Delta Upsilon is committed to help you become a better man. We strive in every aspect of Campus life, such as Academics, Philanthropy, Sports and campus involvement. We welcome and encourage any well rounded man to become a brother of our fraternity. Come see how fun Bradley University can truly be!
Our motto is “Dikaia Upotheke” in Greek – “Δικαια Υποθηκη” – which means “Justice Our Foundation.” The motto was adopted in 1858 during the 24th Annual Convention of the Fraternity. Until this time, the motto of the Williams Chapter, “Ouden Adelon” – meaning “Nothing Secret,” was used. We have nothing to hide and anyone including parents and friends can attend our chapter meetings and events.
Our recruitment results speak for themselves. The Fall 2010 class of 28 new members for Delta Upsilon was the largest for a fraternity at Bradley University. This was the third year in a row we took the top honor for a pledge class on campus. Delta Upsilon consistently recruits a well-rounded group of scholars, athletes and leaders that we are proud to call our brothers. If you would like to meet some of the men of Delta Upsilon, or just learn more about DU, please contact our Rush Chairman, Corey Hammerton at chammerton@mail.bradley.edu.
